I am so fortunate to have incredible, amazing people in my life. Several months ago, I was blessed to see a couple from Washington State. It had been many years since they had been back to Chicago, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment spent with them. We were limited on time so our sessions were intense and focused, until the wife said something that stopped me dead in my tracks. She expressed a fear that she would develop dementia as her father and a few other relatives had. After getting reacquainted with who she was, I was shocked to hear about this concern.

In front of me sat a highly accomplished woman in her field of work, which came after many years of schooling and ongoing training throughout her decades of service.
